"Accommodating and Welcoming ALL Guests" How do you make an event accessible and welcoming for all guests, regardless of age or ability? Focusing only on compliance with applicable laws stops far short of ensuring everyone feels they belong. This course increases empathetic awareness of guest needs and explores practical strategies for engaging with a broader population segment. Through a commitment to understanding and addressing barriers to full participation, events will increase attendance, length of stay, and guest loyalty. This course will be presented by Elisa Hays, M.Div Elisa Hays is an expert in building connection, belonging, and resilience. She speaks internationally, consults on accessibility, advocates for disability awareness, and holds a certification in U.S. Federal disability law from the University of Missouri. Since 1995, Elisa has been involved with fairs in multiple capacities.
